We’re committed to only packaging the highest-quality naturally alkaline spring water while minimizing our environmental impact and maximizing our sustainability.
Corporate Responsibility (CR) is a broad-based movement in business that encourages companies to take accountability for the impact of their activities on customers, employees, communities, and the environment.

Packaging the best
Why bother packaging water unless it’s the highest-quality spring water? If it’s just about drinking any water, you can use a tap; although, researchers have detected contaminants, such as microplastic particles, and there’s often added fluoride and chlorine, in municipal water systems.
We package Flow because it’s the highest-quality naturally alkaline spring water on the planet. Our sustainably managed artesian springs produce naturally delicious, mineral-rich water that helps nourish your internal environment—your body.

Protecting the environment starts at the source. We’re careful only to use a small amount of the abundant water that Mother Nature provides and that we don’t interrupt the natural flow of spring water through the environment. We have rigorous water monitoring programs run by professional hydrologists to ensure that our usage is consistent with all laws and regulations. We’re dedicated to the sustainable use of our natural springs for the enjoyment of current and future generations.

Our goal is to roll out packaging with the highest-ever levels of renewable materials and make our packaging 100% reusable, recyclable, and compostable by 2025. We have already achieved 100% recyclability! Fiber from our cartons is among the highest quality in recycling streams and is seeing increased demand in the U.S. and Europe.

We want to make recycling accessible to everyone. That’s why we are working with recycling companies to provide options for increased coverage and access. A decade ago, our partners at Tetra Pak kick-started the Carton Council, which skyrocketed the percentage of households with access to recycling. They are also developing robotic sorting technologies to help commercial recycling operations sort Tetra Pak containers more quickly and efficiently. Everything we make is designed to be recycled with ease and minimal impact.

We are reducing our carbon footprint by partnering with companies like Bullfrog Energy in Canada and Green-e in the U.S. to purchase certified renewable electricity that offsets our carbon emissions.
In the last two years alone, Flow has purchased around 1,000 MWh of green power, resulting in about 215 tons of offset CO2e.

With a new U.S. source, our business practices are now even more sustainable because we’re reducing transportation costs and carbon emissions. Our goal is to achieve a circular economy by:
• Using renewable resources
• Responsibly sourcing materials
• Promoting and increasing recycling
• Making production and processes resource-efficient
• Working with the UN Global Compact and Sustainable Development Goals Foundation on greening our supply chain
• Working within the Ellen MacArthur Foundation “New Plastics Economy,” where we pledge to: take action to eliminate unnecessary plastic packaging by 2025; make packaging 100% reusable, recyclable, or compostable by 2025; set an ambitious 2025 recycled content target; report annually and publicly on progress towards meeting these commitments.
